MAHSA University in collaboration with Malaysian Society Of Radiographers will organised an Emergency & Trauma Imaging Conference 2018. In conjunction with World Radiography Day on 8 November 2018, the Department of Medical Imaging of MAHSA University is organising an Emergency and Trauma Imaging Conference. This conference is aimed at enhancing multi-modality patient management and skills to detect common injuries, acute polytrauma and other emergency life-threatening medical conditions.
This two-day event will provide radiographers and radiography students with the latest multi-modality imaging trends and ideas on managing emergency and trauma cases. There will also be presentations on the principles of emergency and trauma imaging, radiation protection, the role of advanced imaging modalities in emergency and trauma imaging, as well as the radiographer’s responsibilities in managing emergency and trauma cases. Being a high-quality and cost-effective CPD event, it provides a great opportunity for participants to acquire the knowledge of Emergency and Trauma Imaging, with exposure to interesting clinical cases. This conference is also expected to be a great event that serves as a platform for participants to meet with international colleagues to discuss new and challenging aspects of Emergency and Trauma Imaging.
