On behalf of the organizing committee, it is my pleasure to welcome all of you to the 20th Asia Australasia Conference of Radiological Technologists (AACRT) which is to be held in conjunction with the 2nd South East Asia Radiographers Conference (SEARC) and 3rd Asia Radiotherapy Symposium (ARTS) from 20th -23rd August this year.
The theme of our conference “Transcending Medical Radiation – Beyond Medical Radiation; Beyond Patients; Beyond Borders.” provides a unique platform for professionals from all disciplines of radiography to come together to share expertise, reacquaint with colleagues and make new friends. The conference will be held at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre, which is located ideally in the central business district of Singapore and close to many tourist attractions and shopping malls.
This year, Singapore will be celebrating her 50th anniversary of independence. It is indeed a privilege and timely occasion that Singapore Society of Radiographers is able to host these three major conferences concurrently on this momentous year. Hope that all of you will have a fruitful conference and will take this opportunity to enjoy the local cuisine and experience the dynamics of our multi- racial culture that is uniquely Singapore.
